Number of rooms, number of people, and which nights you will be staying. Some
players parents can not make this trip so if you would have space in your room
for one of your child's teammates please let me know. I need all this info by
Monday night so we can make room assignments. Hotel costs are up to $105 per
night for the 3 nights

Below is from Blue Chip Basketball
All
coaches and
only coaches
must report at 12:15 to the
Bryce Jordan Annex on
July 9th. The Annex is the 3-court
wooden facility behind the large Arena. At this time you will be given your
packet information and the pool play which will be explained to you. At the end
of the tournament there will be 19 pool winners and they will each receive a
tournament championship prize.
All players must be at the
Bryce Jordan Main Arena by
1:15 on
July 9th. There will be a mandatory
15-minute NCAA lecture.
Absolutely no one may miss
this talk - it is an NCAA regulation.
All coaches must prepare parents, fans, family and friends that there will be
admission charges:
Daily Adult: $8.00
4-Day Adult
Pass: $25.00
7-Day Adult
Pass: $40.00
Daily Student: $5.00 4-Day Student Pass: $15.00 7-Day Student
Pass: $25.00
12 & Under
are FREE
In addition, NCAA coaches must not be situated or seated close to parents. We
must constantly be on alert that parents are not sitting too close to the
coaches. Please advise your parents to follow our instructions. It is not our
rule - it is the rule
of the NCAA!
We have a new Player
and Family Value Plan Card that will allow all players, coaches,
and parents to buy a card which will allow them to have discounts at
over fifty establishments
in the State College area. The Card cost
$10 for a participating
player and
$15 for parents, coaches and
family members. During the course of 4 days parents, fans and
players spend a lot of money on food and other items. This card will allow them
to save 10-15% at all different
locations. I would strongly advise you to let your team and family members know
about this opportunity. This could save them a lot of money over the course of
the tournament.
Penn State sports teams will be running concession stands open from 9:00 am to
9:00 pm each day.
