NEPA Flames AAU Tournament Rules
All PIAA Rules Except:
· Games are two 16 minute halves with stopped time, except for ages 10U-11U
which play 14 minute halves
· All girls teams play will use the 28.5 Ball
· Pre-game warm up will be limited to 4 minutes (unless extended by tournament
official). Halftime will be 3 minutes and overtime will be 3 minutes.
· If a court is running behind, it may be necessary to shorten the warm up or
halftime.
· 10 minute grace period from the scheduled start time before forfeit is
announced.
· Each team gets two full timeouts per game and 1 thirty second timeout per
half. The thirty –second timeout does not carry over. Overtime includes 1
additional thirty-second timeout.
· Any player or coach receiving 2 technical fouls is excused from the game and
will no play in the next game. Any player ejected for fighting will be excused
from the tournament.
· 5 personal fouls per game.
· One and one on the 10th team foul, 2 shots and the 13th team foul.
· Mercy Rule: if team is winning by more than 20 points in the last 10 minutes
the clock will run
Tie breakers
All ties after the pool play will be broken using head- to- head winner. In the
case of no head - to – head game or ANY three games or more way ties, the
following tie- breaking methods will be used:
1.) Score differential up to a maximum of 15 points per game.
2.) Least points allowed
All forfeits will be given a differential of 5 points and will NOT be used in
calculation of least allowed.
· Payment must accompany entry for team to be accepted.
· Girls’ divisions are determined by age athlete is as of January 1st, 2006.
Girls AAU Junior 17 rule applies.
· Rosters must be received 2 weeks prior to tournament .
· Players may only play in age division and appear on one roster.
· Make travel and hotel arrangements as soon as possible.
· The schedule for each tournament will be finalized the Wednesday preceding
your tournament and will be posted on our web site

From North Jersey
Take the Garden State Parkway south to Exit 37 (Washington Avenue), at the end
of the exit ramp make a right hand turn onto Washington Avenue. Continue to
Tilton Road (bear right onto Tilton Road). At the 1st light (past
McDonald’s) make a left to Route #322 . Make a right onto Route #322 (Black
Horse Pike). Go straight for about four (4) miles to Route #575 – English Creek
Avenue. There will be a Mobil Gas Station and Shop Rite Supermarket on the left
side. Make a left turn onto English Creek Avenue. Go straight for about three
(3) miles on English Creek Avenue to High School Drive. Make a left hand turn
onto High School Drive. Drive about ¼ mile on High School Drive and the school
will be on your left side. Use the third driveway for the main office.
From South Jersey
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 36 (Northfield-Fire Road). Make a
right onto Route #561 – Fire Road to Route #662 – Mill Road (1st
traffic light). Make a right turn onto Mill Road to Route #559 Alt. – Ocean
Heights Avenue (stop street). Make a right turn onto Ocean Heights Avenue to
Route #575 (English Creek Avenue). Make a right turn onto English Creek Avenue
proceed to High School Drive (1st right). Make a right turn onto
High School Drive. Go about ¼ mile on High School Drive and the school will be
on the left side. Use the third driveway for the main office.
From the Trenton Area
Take Route 206 to Route 54 South. Go straight across at Route #30. Take Route
#54 South to Route #561 (1st traffic light past Expressway
underpass). Make a left turn onto Route #561 Spur to Route # 322 East – Black
Horse Pike (traffic light). Make a left turn onto Route #322 East (Black Horse
Pike) to Route # 575 – English Creek Avenue. There will be a Mobile Gas Station
and Shop Rite Supermarket on the corners. Make a right turn onto English Creek
Avenue. Go straight for about 3 miles on English Creek Avenue to High School

From the Philadelphia Area & Atlantic City Expressway
Take the Walt Whitman Bridge to route 42 south to the Atlantic City Expressway.
Take the Expressway East to Exit # 9 (Delilah Road – traffic light). Make a
right turn onto Delilah Road (or a Left if going west from Atlantic
City) and proceed to Route # 575. Make a left turn onto
Route # 575 - English Creek Avenue. Go straight across at 1st
traffic light (Black Horse Pike – Route #322). Go straight for approximately 3
miles on English Creek Avenue to High School Drive (left hand side). Make a
left turn onto High School Drive. Go about ¼ mile on High School Drive and the
school will be on your left side.
E.H.T. MIDDLE SCHOOL Courts 4 & 5
4034 Fernwood Avenue, Egg Harbor Township
Take exit 9 off the AC expressway and turn right from Philly (or a Left
if going west from Atlantic City) at the end of the ramp. On To Delialah Road
English Creek and turn left. Once on English Creek you will turn left at the
Second traffic light, West Jersey Avenue. Once on West Jersey you will go up
about 1/2 a mile and turn right onto Fernwood Ave. The gym is next to the out
door basketball courts up about 1/4 mile on the left.
From Middle School To High School Take a Right
Back On Fernwood Ave Turn Left On West Jersey Ave. 1/2 mile Left ON
Route # 575 - English Creek Avenue. Go straight for approximately
2 1/2
miles on English Creek Avenue to High School Drive (left hand side). Make a
left turn onto High School Drive. Go about ¼ mile on High School Drive and the
school will be on your left side.
From High School To Middle School Turn left out
of the high school drive way onto High school Drive. At Stop sign Turn Left on
Tremont Ave. Apox. 1 mile turn Right on Main St. Which Turns into Fernwood Ave. 4034 Fernwood
Avenue, The gym is next to the out door basketball courts
